Why Great Tradespeople Build Careers at Loft Drywall & Plaster
At Loft, we work with homeowners who respect us as tradespeople, want quality work and are willing to pay for it. That means steady jobs, realistic timelines, and doing things right instead of rushing to the next call.
We're small enough that your name matters. Organized enough that your day has structure. And we have leadership that owns their mistakes instead of blaming the crew.
If that sounds like where you want to work, you belong here.
- Steady work: With our systems you always know what projects to prepare for in the days ahead with no gaps in work. No last‑minute texts the night before telling you to stay home because there’s no work.
- Clear scopes before you arrive: Before you roll, you see notes, photos, video walk-throughs, and the game plan in our app. You know exactly what you're walking into.
- Real support on every job: Office and operations are a call away for paperwork, scheduling, or project clarity. You’re not dropped on a job and forgotten.
- Respectful clients and jobsites: We work in finished homes where protection, cleanliness, and communication matter.
A Day in the Life at Loft
The Night Before
You review your projects in the app so you know exactly where you’re going, what you’re doing, and what to prep. No showing up blind or looking unprepared in front of a homeowner.
Morning
You leave from home in your Loft Drywall & Plaster vehicle, already stocked at the start of the week with the materials and protection you need. Your first stop is the customer’s home, where you’re scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m. You roll up knowing the scope, the notes, and the plan, so you can get right to doing what you do best instead of chasing details or supplies.
On the Job
You work in finished homes doing detailed drywall and plaster repairs and texture matches that disappear into existing walls and ceilings. You’re the craftsperson on site: you protect the space, keep the homeowner in the loop, and follow clear Loft standards so every job hits our quality bar. When something unexpected pops up, you loop in operations and the office instead of being left alone to figure it out or eat the problem yourself.
Backed by the Team
You’re backed by an office team that talks to the homeowner, confirms changes, and keeps you out of text-message chaos.
End of Day
Jobsites cleaned, notes updated, tomorrow’s schedule is already set.

I have been working in customer service and office management for 5 years.
What is something that surprised you in a good way when you started working at Loft?
One thing that pleasantly surprised me was how well-planned and organized Loft's systems are when it comes to taking care of our customers. In previous roles, I worked in environments where there were few or no systems in place, and I saw firsthand the confusion and challenges that created for both team members and clients.
